LUTHIER & MUSICIAN
Pin Point Capos

With my own invention, the Pin Point Capo, you have the possibility to easely vary your tunings in any way you please. I drill holes in the neck where I place casings, on mandolas and mandolins the holes are placed in between two strings, on guitars they're placed next to the strings. The Pin Point capo is a small skrew that you screw into the hole, so that with a few capos you can create whatever tuning you please. At the side of the neck I drill holes for a "Pin Point parking", where the capos you are not using can be placed.
In my band, where I play a bass drone mandola with Pin Point Capos, I change the placement of the capos inbetween allmost every song. Sometimes I use all of them, and sometimes i only use a few.
